ABOUT CORNER OF THE SKY
From his fire escape he can almost find his Corner of the Sky but not before he hits some key life notes along the way. He keeps asking the questions and endeavouring life’s challenges because he just knows that Something’s Coming… …something good!
Join Canadian musical theatre performer Justin Stadnyk as he explores the air outside and the potential it holds. There may be Giants in the Sky or simply someone out there to listen to his prayer. Justin uses a mix of very well known to more obscure songs from the musical theatre repertoire to take you on a journey through his sung through song-cycle. Follow his tale or create your own as these songs take on new meaning.

To close off your summer with a bang, Talk Is Free Theatre’s newest Performance Festival, GIANTS IN THE SKY, is taking over downtown Barrie in ways you’ve never seen. Over the course of two weekends, culture, music and theatrical performance is bringing rooftops, balconies and fire escapes of the city to life, and it’s all free!
GIANTS IN THE SKY is the perfect end-of-summer outing. Find yourself exploring surprising locations in downtown Barrie with your map of free performances by an incredible array of Canadian performers.
Spend a couple of hours or a couple of days and feel the excitement in the air.
