Exciting New Roles at RMTC—A Season of Storytelling

This season at the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre (RMTC) is shaping up to be one of the most exhilarating yet, and I am thrilled to announce my involvement in two incredibly distinct productions: acting in the musical "Waitress" and sound designing for the play "Indecent."

"Waitress" is a touching story that combines the sweetness of life's desserts with the complexities of personal aspirations and relationships, all set to a mesmerizing soundtrack that's loved by audiences worldwide. Taking on a role in this production means stepping into a narrative rich with emotion and resilience, something I'm eager to explore and convey through my performance.

On the other side of the theatrical spectrum, I'm also continuing my work in the technical realm of theatre as the sound designer for "Indecent." This play is a profound narrative that deals with themes of art, censorship, and identity, wrapped in a script that demands attention to the subtleties of sound to truly bring its story to life. It’s a challenge I accept with open arms, excited to meld technical skill with creative vision to enhance the storytelling.

Working with RMTC's talented ensemble—comprised of dedicated and innovative artists—provides a fertile ground for creativity and growth. Both "Waitress" and "Indecent" offer unique opportunities to delve into vastly different stories and characters, each demanding a different set of skills and emotional investments.

As the season unfolds, I look forward to sharing these experiences with audiences and colleagues alike, bringing the magic of these stories from script to stage. The journey through rehearsals to opening night is always a transformative one, and with such powerful narratives at hand, I am both humbled and invigorated to be part of this artistic endeavor.

Stay tuned for more updates as we progress through the season, and thank you for your continued support and enthusiasm for the arts!
